Alpine Canada Launches new Website

Alpine Canada has launched a brand new, interactive website alpinecanada.org, setting a new digital standard in the world of ski racing on both national and international levels. Created to enhance consumer experience, alpinecanada.org provides unprecedented access to Canada’s elite alpine, ski cross and para-alpine athletes, news and events.

“The rapidly evolving digital and mobile space has become an integral component of our business plan and a key tool in how we want to connect, communicate and engage with our fan base,” said Mark Rubinstein, President and CEO of Alpine Canada Alpin. “This new digital platform amplifies the user experience and makes everyone feel as if they are standing at the finish line, regardless of where in the world they are. Our web-site now connects passionate fans of our sport through original content, authentic conversations and broader access to Alpine Canada athletes.”

The new mobile responsive web design contains a host of new features including live social media feeds with Alpine Canada Alpin’s Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube channels, enhanced content, contests, social media sharing features and video integration. This enriched user experience represents the progressive brand presence of Alpine Canada Alpin as a leader in the digital sports space.

The launch coincides with the start of The Audi FIS Lake Louise World Cup season on November 29, as the world’s best Alpine skiers arrive in Lake Louise, Alberta. The following week The Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup supported by Mackenzie Investments takes place in Nakiska, Alberta where reigning 2014 Sochi Olympic gold medalist, Marielle Thompson, begins her quest to win back-to-back World Cup Crystal Globes.
