Marie-Michèle Gagnon Latest Lange Icon

For the last decade, LANGE has honored the femininity of women skiers on the world circuit by giving them the opportunity, in a photo shoot, to express their personality and become an ICON.

Winner of her first World Cup race in the Super Combined in Altenmarkt in January 2014, Marie-Michèle Gagnon will personify the LANGE ICON this winter. “There is a long history of incredible athletes who’ve embodied the Lange Icon, and it is an honor for me to become a part of this group, surrounded by some of the biggest names in alpine skiing. I hope to leave my mark this year and have the ability to share my passion for ski racing with those around the world and my fellow Canadians.”

Marie-Michele Gagnon concluded her remarkable season 2014 with a total of eight top 10 in the World Cup for her to settle in 13th place of the overall. A fruit of the hard work she puts in daily. “Having grown up in a family of five sporty children, I developed a strong competitive spirit. I’ve always loved pushing the limits in everything I do. I like to challenge my teammates, my brothers and sisters and even my boyfriend (!). So the slogan “Catch me if you can” is perfect for me.”

An intense athlete, determined and demanding, the Canadian can count on LANGE RS 140 ski boot – the concentration of Lange performance and technology- in her search for excellence. “But outside of skiing, I do not take myself seriously, I always laugh”, she noted. So, to slip into the skin of “Cat Woman” it is close to my character with the comic side of the photo. “This playful and sexy shooting was a beautiful experience.”
