Club Med Eyes Mont Tremblant’s L’Hymne-des-Trembles Project

Club Med is in advanced discussions with Mont Tremblant’s L’Hymne-des-Trembles Project to bring a second all-inclusive Club Med resort to Quebec, building on the success of its first property at Le Massif de Charlevoix.

The proposed new Club Med would anchor L’Hymne-des-Trembles, a major real estate development planned by the Brivia Group for the Versant Soleil side of Mont Tremblant. This multi-phase project aims to expand the resort’s appeal with 300 luxury hotel rooms and over 500 new residential units, while also delivering infrastructure upgrades that promise to transform the ski experience.

A central feature of the plan is a new fixed-grip quad chairlift that would service an expanded beginner area and 8 new ski trails, boosting Tremblant’s total to 110 trails over 763 acres. The dedicated beginner terrain is designed to offer a sheltered learning environment away from the resort’s main traffic, a move likely to appeal to families and new skiers.

Club Med Québec Charlevoix, which opened in 2021, was the brand’s first foray into the Quebec market and has become a standout success. All-inclusive packages combining lift tickets, lodging, meals, lessons, and kids’ clubs have proven attractive to both local and international visitors looking for simplicity and value. Tremblant, with its well-developed mountain village, international recognition, and proximity to major travel markets, appears well-positioned to deliver even greater success.

The proposed Tremblant Club Med would be approximately a 90-minute drive from Montreal-Trudeau International Airport, making it highly accessible for both domestic and international visitors. By contrast, Charlevoix is about 90 minutes from Quebec City’s Jean Lesage International Airport. Given Montreal’s larger catchment area and more robust international flight network, industry observers see strong potential for Tremblant’s Club Med to match or even outperform its Charlevoix sister property.

The project is expected to create nearly 300 jobs, with plans to house about half of the resort’s workforce on-site, supporting local employment and staff retention in a notoriously competitive hospitality labour market.

While final approvals are still pending, developers have outlined a tentative construction start in summer 2026, with an ambitious target to open in December 2028—positioning the resort to capture peak holiday and winter travel demand.

For Mont Tremblant, a Club Med partnership is part of a broader strategy to solidify its standing as Eastern North America’s premier ski destination, competing with the likes of Vermont’s Stowe and New York’s Whiteface while also tapping international travel markets. The move aligns with Tremblant’s long history of large-scale investments and expansion planning, demonstrating continued confidence in Quebec’s four-season mountain tourism potential.
