Condé Nast Traveler magazine’s annual reader’s poll of the best place to ski in North America has acclaimed Lake Louise Mountain Resort, Aspen, Telluride and Jackson Hole.
3 really is Lake Louise’s lucky number as they were ranked 3rd for Terrain and Conditions and for Lifts and Lines in the December 2006 issue.
Charlie Locke, owner the Resort says, “We’re thrilled that Lake Louise has a place on this prestigious list amongst so many spectacular resorts. Visitors to Lake Louise get a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It’s a world-class, first-class destination.”
Not just a spectacular place to ski but also an incredible place to stay! The two favourite hotels in Lake Louise, the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, appeared on the list of the Top 50 ski hotels in the world, in the same issue. The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel cleared the board with a perfect 100 points. Ranked 1st for its location and 5th for its service and dining.
These ratings are decided by the people as they derive from the readers opinions on topics such as high level of service, lift lines and ski conditions. Lake Louise Mountain Resort was one of only four Canadian resorts on the list, and shared the list with only one other Alberta destination, Ski Banff at Norquay.
