Chamonix’s Mont-Blanc Valley is now part of the Mountain Collective 2015/16 season pass program. Chamonix is the Collective’s first European resort, and the fourth international destination, joining Thredbo, Australia; Hakuba Valley, Japan; and Valley Nevado, Chile. The Collective now has 14 member resorts in all.
“Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley is delighted to join the Mountain Collective as the first and only European resort among 14 distinctive ski destinations around the world,” said Mathieu Dechavanne, CEO of Compagnie du Mont-Blanc Chamonix. “Internationally known as the capital of European skiing and mountaineering, Chamonix’s resorts offer breathtaking views of glaciers, seracs, mountain lakes and spectacular ice falls. No place else in the world can the discerning skier experience a 360° view of all of the French, Swiss, and Italian Alps. A visit to Chamonix is one a skier or snowboarder will not soon forget.”
All Mountain Collective Pass holders will receive two-day lift-ticket at each of the 14 partner destinations. Passes for the 2015-16 season are on sale now at $399 ($99 for kids 12 and under), while supplies last. Additional lift tickets can be purchased at a 50 percent off discount and there are no blackout dates.
Pass holders can also take advantage of lodging discounts and will receive a one-year free membership to Protect our Winters, a non-profit foundation.
