Saskadena Six is Suicide Six’s new politically correct name. Suicide Six hired creative agency Origin Designs to spin their new brand. Saskadena means “standing mountain” in Abenaki, The Abenaki are an Indigenous peoples of the Northeastern Woodlands of Canada and the United States.
Origin Designs commented, “We are grateful for the trust placed in us throughout this process, and also for our collaboration with Chief Don Stevens of the Nulhegan Abenaki tribe to develop a name that honours the areas original inhabitants.”
Warren Miller and the Suicide Six founders will be rolling over in their graves and the ski racing historians are incensed.
